A wonderful gift came my way the other day…
Those close to me will know that because of the flux and flurry of moving between the UK and Zimbabwe over the past few months, I have not had my instruments with me – only my notebooks filled with lyrics and annotations of songs and ideas ready to be realised and the hope of connecting with some other musicians.
I had a hankering to play one afternoon and so found myself at my local church requesting to spend a little time at their piano. They obliged, kindly, and I can’t tell you how nice it was to get my hands on the keys again!
Happy with this blessing, I took myself home thinking that would be the end of my treats for the day… Then, as if an instant answering of my prayers, my brother-in-law called saying he had an old keyboard to lend me!
So here I am now, with a new partner in crime, a Technics KN600 Keyboard – ready to flesh out my ideas and share the behind the scenes of the new music I’ve got coming to you all!
Was a nice reminder of the precious ways in which God showers us with his grace. The Count On God lyrics really came to fruition that day! I am thankful for the presence of the wonderful family and friends He has brought into my life 🙏🏽
